Amies Transport Medium

Intended use: For the transport and preservation of clinical samples of aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, refractory bacteria,viruses and chlamydia.
Sample requirements: The collection, storage, handling and transportation of samples should be strictly aseptic to avoid contamination.

Cary-Blair Transport Medium

Collection of general bacteria and caustic bacteria specimens such as throat, vagina, wound, etc., should be promptly transported for inoculation after specimen collection

Test method

1. Pull out the media storage tube with sampling swab:

2. After sampling, insert the swab back into the sample processing tube as soon as possible, so that the sample processing tube and the media storage tube are closed at the buckle, and the sampling end of the swab should completely enter the bottom of the sample processing tube.

3. After inserting the swab back into the sample processing tube, straighten the device so that one end of the culture storage tube is up;

4. Pinch the joint of the medium storage tube, unscrew the medium storage tube in a counterclockwise direction, squeeze the storage tube so that the medium inside flows into the bottom of the sample processing tube and moisten the swab sampling end.

5, sample as soon as possible after the inspection, the effective bacteria preservation time of the culture medium is not less than 48 hours;
